Laboratory Gasoline Burner

Laboratory Gasoline Burner

BURNER, Gasoline, Blast, Barthel—Gives a very powerful blast and is adjustable to a light flame. Tank has 1-pint capacity. Burner gives a temperature of about 1400° C. with a blue smokeless flame. Complete with burner, tank and connecting tube.

BURNER, Laboratory, Gasoline Blow Torch—Produces an intensely hot blue flame, which can be regulated from a small pointed flame to a brush flame. Tank made of heavy seamless drawn brass, with pump in handle. Fitted with upright, rigid burner. Capacity of tank, 1 pint. Overall height, 7 inches.

BURNER, Laboratory, Gasoline Blow Torch, with Adjustable Stand (Patented)—This burner may be used either horizontally or vertically, the adjustable stand making it possible to point the flame in any direction desired. The adjustable apparatus support will hold any ordinary sized pan or laboratory vessel, and may be swung out of the way when not in use. The torch can be quickly regulated by the needle valve to a small pointed or to a full size brush flame. The capacity of the tank is one pint.

burner cary

BURNER, Cary, Gasoline—In use for over 25 years in the mining camps of the world and still acknowledged to be the best. The burner face, wherein the gas is generated, is of the very best phosphor bronze to resist oxidation. The needle valves are made with a flat shoulder to shut off gasoline supply, the needle portion being used only to clean out orifice. The best results are obtained with from 35 to 40 pounds pressure in the fuel tank. Complete instructions for operation included with each burner.

BURNER BOSS—This is a fire-clay ring, presenting an even surface against which the burner may be adjusted.

burner braun

BURNER, Braun Pro-Pane—Uses cylinder gas, producing an exceedingly hot, clean blue flame. Cylinder gas produces more heat than most fuels used with assay furnaces, costs less and is safer. This burner is simply constructed without air adjustments. The force of the gas from the jet entrains air into the mixing chamber, making just the right mixture for complete combustion. No generating, pumping or priming is necessary.

The Braun Pro-Pane burner will not burn in the open. It is used in connection with a burner boss which allows the proper amount of air to enter around the burner. This burner can be used with all sizes of Braun Assay Furnaces. Complete with burner boss.

Tanks of cylinder gas and flow control valve for regulating volume can be purchased from various oil companies or their distributors. Prices vary with number of cylinders used per year. Consult your dealer for specific information.

burner gas

BURNER, Gas, Vulcan—A non-blast burner operating under regular gas pressure. Temperatures as high as 2100° F. have been obtained. The gas and air are mixed in the correct proportions to obtain the most intense heat. Fitted with a special regulating valve for the gas supply. The burner will consume about fifty feet of gas per hour and produces a large volume of flame.

burner gas

BURNER, Gas, Braun, Blast—The construction of the burner is such that air and gas are properly mixed in right proportions after the recognized principles of Bunsen. To obtain a sufficient amount of air for this burner it is necessary to employ a blower, which may be operated by electricity or any other available power. The gas from the main burner is ignited by means of a pilot flame at the side. Best results are obtained from ¾-inch gas supply pipe. Air and gas valves furnished.
