What Is MIG Welding? 

MIG, or metal inert gas welding, is one of the several welding techniques that use electricity to melt and fuse pieces of metals. Simply put, MIG welding is a type of gas metal arc welding (GMAW) that joins two base materials together using a wire electrode.
